Smoking the oil off a cave's hot knife / 'til the pilcher swore he saw it move / & somebody said we "should call it Mars" / the guitar & drums in a rock wall groove / with Farfisa & Rhodes & our janitor friend / on a trip thru this station from World Thirty-Two....

The house where Dana lived out back
The padded walls kept chaos close
A place where the young learned how to be old
Where dreams refused to be told

10 KEGGER

A Classic Victorian surrounded by vineyards
10 kegs full
Echoplex metal began to exude
Happy the crowd who witnessed the moment
The man with his bullhorn
Flexed his authority
Helicopter overhead
The band played on
The flashing lights were not from the stage
The crowd scattered
By then 10 kegs were empty
