What have you done for us lately Senator McCain?

I'm really puzzled by the excitement of making John McCain our next President. After doing just a few minutes of research into the Senators voting record. It amazes me that he has missed 261 votes in this session of the U.S. Senate. That's 55.7% of the votes. The only other Senator who has missed more votes is Democratic Senator from South Dakota Tim Johnson who has missed 311 votes or 66.3% of the votes. As a resident of Arizona, I can't recall a single thing that Senator John McCain has done for his own States constituents. He brags about knowing what to do about illegal imigration because "he comes from a border state", but he hasn't done a damn thing about closing our borders for how many years?? If he is a half-assed Senator missing more than half the votes on the Senate Floor, why should we make him President? Inquiring minds want to know!
